Mitsubishi’s ARLEDIA DVD-R optical media

Sometime CD or DVD can get easily rot and that depends on the quality of the disc. Mitsubishi has released a new DVD, the ARLEDIA DVD-R optical media which offered a long term storage solution. The disk features the Gold-Silver (AU-AG) reflective film layer which will prevent chemical oxidation and improve reflectivity, result with a better compatibility and durability optical media. According to the company, the ARLEDIA 4.7GB DVD-R has twice the life expectancy than a normal DVD-R, they were put in test in environment of 88 degree Celsius / 80% RH. The Mitsubishi ARLEDIA 4.7GB DVD-R will be priced at $5.50. [via New Launches]
