Apple Newton 2 coming soon?

According to AppleInsider, it looks like the Apple is developing a new tablet or an UMPC. The project represents its second stab at reinventing the PDA since the Newton met its fate in the late 90’s. The device is said to be slightly bigger than the iPhone today, with DVD-resolution (720×480) and the iPhone touch interface. This new device will appear sometime in Q1 2008. [via Ubergizmo]
